And that was when it happened, while we stared deeply into our very souls.
“I love you,” Thomas whispered. He didn’t stop moving, he didn’t feel guilty for saying it, or even ashamed. He was honest.
“I’m in love with you,” I confessed, breathless.
Thomas smiled. It was the most honest smile I had ever seen on his face. He touched our noses and then he kissed me. He began to bury himself inside me in long, hard strokes. Moments later, the bed was creaking by the way his movements went harder and desperate.
“Oh, baby, I love you so much,” he moaned in my mouth as I held his face.
Almost reaching my orgasm, I was able to say, “I love you.”
My whole body shuddered beneath him as I screamed his name. A few more thrusts and Thomas was there with me, his hot semen filling me up. Breathing heavily, we stayed connected for long moments.
Sliding from me, Thomas laid on the bed and pushed me into his chest.
“When do you want to move in?” he asked, unexpectedly, taking me completely by surprise.
I lifted my head and watched him with my mouth opened. “Are you serious?”
“Why not? I mean, I can’t live without you now. Why should we wait if you’re already here?” Seeing how stunned I was, he continued with his rational words. “Don’t worry about not seeing your family. Every time I get my vacation days we can visit them.”
My heart melted at how he had thought everything through. “You already have everything planned out?”
“Most of it, yes.”
His hands never stopped touching my skin.
And now he never would stop.
I loved that thought.
“What about Rachel?”
“She’s a six-year-old girl that loves her Au Pair. What more do you want from her?” he said, giving me a never seen smirk.
I leaned on him and briefly touched his lips with my own.
“I would give you the moon if I could,” he whispered in my mouth.
“Why not the sun?”
“Hmm, because the sun, baby, I would it to my daughter,” he said, smashing our lips together.
With glistening eyes, I enveloped his face. “You’re a wonderful father.”
Four Months Later
Rachel and I were sitting on the grass at Kensington Garden while Thomas went to buy us some refreshments.
“I miss mommy,” Rachel said, taking me by surprise. She never talked about Sarah.
“You know what your daddy said to me a few days ago?” I put her on my lap while she shook her head. “That every time he looks at you, he sees her, too. As long as your heart is beating, her life will be inside you.”
“Are you my new mommy?”
“What would you say if I was?”
When those incredible blue eyes found my own, I knew exactly what she was about to say. I knew children to the bone. “I think you would make a beautiful queen in my castle.”
“I would, wouldn’t I?” I said, smiling. “But not as beautiful as the princess of the castle,” I said as a serial of tickles started to take place.
Instantly, we were both laying on the grass as our screams and laughter filled the fresh air.
“What are my girls doing?” Thomas’ voice sounded and Rachel screamed. She started to run, but he was just behind her. “Come here, my little monkey.”
I watched as he took her to his chest and started filling her stomach with kisses. Rachel screamed and giggled, making a completely different scene from when I started working for the Abram’s. Now, I could see life coursing through their veins.
And I was a part of it.
I was a part of them.
My new family.
